Getting Started with Syncing
Once you’ve set up SiteDrive and connected it to your WordPress site, syncing becomes a breeze. Whenever you upload or update a file in SiteDrive, those changes are automatically reflected across all sites that have access to the drive. No more manual uploads or worrying about outdated versions — SiteDrive takes care of it all.
How Syncing Works
- Upload Your Files: Add your files to SiteDrive by selecting the desired drive and folder. Click on “Click to Add or Drag and Drop” to upload your files. Integrated products will show up right in the finder once you select click to add. Otherwise, you can drag and drop the file.
- Automatic Syncing: Once uploaded, SiteDrive syncs your file. This means that any changes made to the file from the host drive will be reflected in real-time for everyone who has access. Synced integrated files add the file directly to the end app (Cornerstone, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce, etc), and non-integrated files will sync and be available in SiteDrive.
- Stay Updated: With syncing enabled, you, your team, and your customers will always have access to the latest versions of your files.
Troubleshooting Syncing Issues

- Check Your Connection: Ensure that your WordPress site is properly connected SiteDrive. A stable connection is key to seamless syncing.
- Verify Permissions: Make sure that Visibility is turned on for the drive and that the recipient has access to the drive via SiteDrive Key or login.
